Worn thin??, Worn Thin?? I could see through this ahole 12 years ago.
Worn thin, very thin, and a complete liar, failure...
I think it’s somewhere in the middle. Part of the problem is we are pounded with glass half empty talk day after day in an effort to discourage people from finding hope in a philospy of governance that we disagree with. If this were a politically friendly administration, the talk would be much more glass half full.
Springtime for Barry and socialists.
“While this nation has been tested by war and recession and all manner of challenge I stand before you again tonight, after almost two terms as your president, to tell you I am even more optimistic about the future of America,” Obama said.
“How could I not be after all we’ve achieved together?”
Of course, you have to be liberal, to think of some of the events of his administration as positive achievements.
Off topic, but anyone else notice that not one word was said at the Democrat convention about the priest who was beheaded by Muslim terrorists? Did they mention terrorism at all at the convention?
Let’s admit it: if Obama were running for a third term, he would win. Trump is a very effective candidate, and he (unlike his two predecessors) would make it a close race, but there is still something about the Obama mystique that captures the hearts and the votes of the LIVs. Lucky for us, Hillary has no mystique whatsoever, and it will be obvious tonight for all who watch.
While Byron’s analysis is sound, it goes far beyond being “too rosy”.
Those speeches were pure examples of lying. It’s like they go in a drawer and select either the America is great speech, or the America sucks speech.
They don’t adjust the speech to reality, they just say whatever sounds best. It’s not facts, it’s not policy, just pure bs.
This is not a partisan reaction, I defy anyone to find any facts or policies in Obama’s speech.
The idea that Hillary had problems because she’s in the arena, is totally devoid of anything. It could be used to defend absolutely anyone.
DNC........total failure, on all counts!!! “FantasyLand”!!!
All is well in obamaland.
But in America and the real world, not so much.
