I’m sure she will always remember the excitement of finding that diamond. If she had it cut for a ring it would probably come out to about a half carat, and the memory will be much more valuable than the cut diamond ever would.
I’m not an expert by any measure but I see some pretty large inclusions in that stone and some major flaws
A skillful cutter no doubt would find a way to make at least one good gem from such a large stone.
