Standing in line to see Donald Trump at the Huntington center in downtown Toledo. THIS LINE IS YUGE!Tons of support for DJT here in the glass city. The line wasn"t this long for Bob Seger and he sold this place out. Will post pics later. GO TRUMP!

That sad story could describe most of America’s cities over the past 20 years. I blame NAFTA and Bill Clinton and I think Donald J. Trump is the only man that roll back all this “progress” that the dems are so proud of.

Toledo use to be known as the Restaurant capital of the country. Thousands of restaurants but mostly ran by Mafia.

Victoria station, train car that served dinner now closed. then Mancy’s still open, best prime rib and steaks!!. Captain Billy Whizzbangs, Dominics Italian Rest, Dyers, Betty Timko’s, Ricardo’s on the river, Alfie’s (named after Burt Bacharach and Hal David song), and Frank Uncle’s on river road, with a view of the Maumee river.

Get a chance in Toledo, go to Mancy’s. Expensive but so worth it!

Yes, decline happened in 80’s. I moved to Michigan in 1989.

Donald could make Toledo great again. I could see some Trump businesses spurring energy and life back into the city again.

The house I was raised in was condemned after grandma died. Cousin bought it and her son killed herself in the house- she let it go and they demolished it. I drive by there and only see the the 100 year cottonwood trees that I remember so well growing up. Just a real tear jerker, no place to go back to- from childhood.

****
Mancy’s owns a few restuarants in the area - one of them is “shorty’s” just west of Franklin Park Mall. Best BBQ American style ribs, etc.
The list of their restaurants is on the right side of the page.
Shorty’s, Mancy’s Italian, Mancy’s Bluewater Grille and the Steakhouse.

Even with tickets, you still need to show up early and get in line.

All Trump rallies held inside buildings hit the fire marshal’s max capacity limit and then the gates close whether you have a ticket or not. That’s why it pays to be early.

Oh and the best Kielbasa ever still at Stanley’s, Lagrange street, old polish neighborhood, albeit, now taken over by ghetto thugs.

I grew up in a small town 80 miles west of here and it’s a similar story there. It’s a shadow of what it was 30 years ago. NAFTA exported the jobs and imported foreign made junk and a wal mart. Most of the current residents don’t even know how great that town once was.

Thanks for the info- don’t get down that way much but will check those restaurants out if I get a chance. Ahh Franklin Park, the last remaining mall in Toledo.

So excited for you to be there and just from the short video feeds so far, the crowd sounds amazing!

Be safe, have fun and I can’t wait to see pics and read your feedback!
