Once I was swimming across turtle creek
Man them snappers all around my feet
Sure was hard swimming across that thing
With both hands holding my ding a ling a ling
Biggest one we caught was 65 pounds! Some sort of prehistoric beast. Man! You had to be very careful around those things. We kept them in fresh water for two weeks, then butchered them. When you cut off it’s head, you had to throw it in the fire, because that head would snap at anything that came in range for 18 hours or more!
