People. Executive orders are not the issue!!! When Congress passes a law that says, for example, the US borders shall be defend its borders. The President often signs the law adding an executive that says something like, “I will defend the border with border patrol, e-verify, and overhead surveillance.” This sort of executive is rational and normal as withing the powers of the President.
A President cannot put out an executive order saying, “I’m not going to enforce the immigration law that was enacted 25 years ago because I don’t agree with it.” That’s not an executive order. That’s changing the law. Do you see the difference?” DO NOT LET THE MEDIA AND YOUR DOPEY FRIENDS AT WORK DEFEND OBAMA BY COMPARING NUMBERS of EXECUTIVE ORDERS!!! ITS NOT RELEVANT!!! Exactly. Executive orders should be like the orders issued by field commanders after the high command has identified an objective. They should flesh out details, not reorient objectives.
