The Hillary camp keeps making these terrible mistakes that impales her but promotes Trump. In their attacks on Trump, they keep promoting him.

The picture you see attached is promoting a "president Trump." This actually came from a Hillary tweet! You will never ever hear Trump promoting a president Hillary. This is a very bad mistake if you don't want people assuming a president Trump is inevitable.

Wrap your head around this.

Dan Scavino, a Trump consultant for social media, said that during the convention in the last 4 days Trump got 85 million views on his videos and the impressions on his social media accounts were in the billions.

Even the Hillary camp simple can't stop think about a president Trump. He is overwhelming!

This is what they call “running positive campaign”. Thank you, Hillary.

I’ll settle right now for President Trump appointing only 2 Justices in his first term - Scalia’s replacement and someone to replace a retiring Ruth Bader-Ginsburg, who was hauled away by guys with white jackets while screaming something about “The Devil is in the White House, he’s living there, he’s ruling our country....”

That’d make most decisions 6-3 - our way, which is to say, according to the Constitution.

Then, in his 2nd term, DJT can appoint one or 2 more. Plus, of course, a couple hundred District and Circuit Court level judges. THAT will turn things around quite a bit.

Scalia - may he rest in peace.
Ginsburg - Age 83
Kennedy - Age 79
Breyer - Age 77

I expect President Trump to appoint a minimum of four during his two terms. I just hope he does a better job than Reagan (appointed Kennedy) or George W. Bush (appointed Roberts). President Trump needs a clean sweep, tipping the Court to at least 6-3 in favor of the rule of law, with only Obama’s diversity appointees and occasionally Roberts blackmailed into joining them in support of judicial tyranny.

Good point about the lower federal courts.

I read that about 1/3 of all federal judges serving today were appointed by Obama.

Most federal court cases never get decided by the Supreme Court. So its important to think about the fact that the president appoints judges in the lower courts too.

...

I think Souter has to be the worst ever appointed by a Republican.

Please don’t forget that GHW Bush gave us David Souter.

Most people don’t know that the lower level judges are even more important - first, because of the reason you mentioned, that most cases never get to the USSC. However, equally important is to have the lower court (especially on the Circuit level) cases go the correct way - this way 2 things happen: first, if the case isn’t taken, then the lower court ruling is cemented for that entire circuit. Second, you don’t exactly have idiots sitting on the Circuit Court level - I met one (a distant cousin of my F-I-L) about 12 years ago, and the man is brilliant. Thus, it becomes more difficult for the Supremes to overturn the cases, because the lower level court is more likely to have gotten it right to begin with.

Bottom line: EVERYTHING matters, not just the top levels.
