Vanity: An argument for those who don't like Trump or Hilllary.

If you encounter someone who don't like Trump or Hillary, and they don't want either one to be president, here's the argument you give them. Of the two, only one will have their deeds exposed and challenged by the press - Trump. Only one will have their potential scandals exposed by the press - Trump. Hillary will not be challenged on anything by the press. The Fourth Pillar will play dead with Hillary in power.

It can’t be done. I’ve been trying.

They have been so completely brainwashed by the media, who are telling them exactly what they want to hear, they don’t want to know the truth. ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, NPR, CNN, and MSNBC are all owned and operated by democrats who have close connections to upper level government officials, often family. (ABC and CBS both have CEO’s who have brothers in government.) They have no journalistic compulsion to be honest any more, political ideology is all that matters these days and they will tell the masses anything they think will protect democrats and harm republicans.

The sheep are too brainwashed to even think about looking for the truth. They have been indoctrinated all their lives to believe the press, and mostly by the same press which is constantly just giving the impression theirs is the last word.

Tell them any different, you get the same name calling we see here online on various forums. I’m trying to convince my mother right now Trump is not the “horrible man” she always insists he is, the whole time refusing to listen at all if I say a word about Obama that is negative. She actually told me Obama IS NOT a liar...NO, not a chance, he is absolutely NOT a liar. Then refused to listen any more.

But if she wants to rant about Trump for 15 minutes that’s fine. I’ve tried to get her to look up the truth, she won’t even look. I’ve told her about articles I’ve read, interviews with people who have known Trump for 20 years, facts I’ve found out...since I didn’t know a thing about the guy when he announced he was running...and I looked it up...she refuses to listen, tells me it’s all lies. He’s a racist. He’s a bigot. He’s a CROOK...just look at all those bankruptcies...so I explained those and then told her that he had never filed personal bankruptcy. “I doubt that” was her reply. What multimillionaire hasn’t filed bankruptcy a few times? That makes no difference, this is Trump, the most hated man in the Democrat world. If he ever even thought about bankruptcy it should be grounds for a hanging.

It’s a lost cause, they have been so thoroughly brainwashed it’s impossible. My sister is the same, union democrat, has a bumper sticker that reads “The road to hell is paved with republicans”.

The mainstream media is telling them exactly what they want to hear, you can dump the truth on their living room floor by the truck load and they will still refuse to accept it.

I guess I got lucky, I was always suspicious, I never believed every word the news told me, even as a kid, and once I got my hands on a modem, I started looking up everything and double checking the so called news. the only surprise was just how bad it actually was...

I also never trusted politicians. My original introduction to government was Nov 22, 1963. Our president, something I had never even heard of, was killed, and the new one, LBJ, was on TV that night at 5PM on the news doing a speech, his first.

In 30 seconds I somehow knew he was a liar and said so. My father jumped all over me because I called the President of the US a liar. I didn’t care who he was, my initial impression was he was lying. I said so. Damn near got spanked.

That started my mistrust of politicians and the news. I knew Nixon was crooked long before he was caught, first time I looked a the guy actually, hated LBJ, and pretty much ditto for all the rest right up till Obama. Nope, didn’t like Reagan either, I thought he should have stuck to acting. He did a good job, but I never liked or trusted him any more than any of the rest.

The first time I ever saw Hillary was a shot of her and Bill on the front page of a Houston newspaper. I didn’t know who she was, I thought that was Bill but had to look at the caption to see. The first thought across my mind was - that woman is EVIL. I bought the paper, which I almost never did, to make sure I knew and remembered exactly who that was for future reference. That was not long before Bill was elected President. I hated him too. Knew he was a liar first time I looked at him.

Trump is the very first person to ever run for President in my life I have not seriously disliked from day one, and the only one I can say I have ever not instantly thought of as a total liar.

And I cannot find a way to convince the brainwashed sheeple he will certainly do a much better job than Hillary.

Oh yeah...remember my comments about my mother? She hates Hillary as much as I do, and will probably stay home rather than learn the truth and vote for Trump...I’m working on it but I don’t have high hopes...

Right now I have to get well, I’ve been sick as a dog since Saturday, summer cold hit me, just now starting to feel better and have a little appetite. I’ll be back on the case before long though...
