I can't tell if the clerk has been fired, regardless, avoid this Sunoco station if you are in that area. On Obama's next south Fla trip, he can have his limo pull in there to see his "boys."

Sonoco is unlikely to put up with this kind of $#*+. The franchise owner might be given the choice of dismissing the employee or forfeiting his franchise. I'd start by calling their 1-800 number posted here.

This is the pride and arrogance which comes from their leader Obama. They are emboldened to defy anything represented as white authority.

What juvenile action. This station will no longer reap finances from any police officer. Good. I think this is called “biting the hand who feeds you”. Whether the guy who made the refusal was just an employee or an owner, this was a very stupid move.

Because, as an “employee”, the person has no authority to deny service to anyone. And, also if the person is an “employee”, he could now face losing his job for treating a customer with such rudeness.

But .. this is what “BLM” is teaching people .. they have a right to be rude to police .. because arresting a criminal is not in their playbook.

Huh, maybe the cops should just take a pass on their job next time that place is robbed. I wonder how they’d feel then?

If I had been one of the other customers I would have placed all my merchandise on the floor and said, “They you can restock these.” Then I would walk out.

“Public Accomodation” cuts both ways.

I doubt the local police will hurry to a robbery in progress call at that gas station anytime soon.

But, but, but why didn't the officer shoot the clerk!? He was black, right? Isn't that what police officers do? Shoot black people? I'm so confused.

</sarcasm>

Keep this up and employers will toss black applications in the circular file.

“His boy” is 10000 times more likely to shoot the clerk than a white cop

I just called their customer service number as well (800-786-6261 from their website).

Got an actual person named “Chris”. I stated firmly that I had just read the article about their employee who refused service to the law enforcement officer in Florida, and that I was incensed that that had been allowed to happen.

Chris said “That matter has already been handled, with appropriate response.” I asked what that response was, and he said “That employee has been fired.”

I said thanks, and that I will be discussing this issue with the media if your company does not come out immediately and make a public statement and apologize to the officer and to all law enforcement officers.

He said that they intend to do that, so we’ll see.

If I had to choose between refusal of service and being shot, its not a hard choice.
