Get the chores done and go on to better things.
I’d like to have sex .2 to .5 times more per month, but I just don’t know if it’s worth the extra work.
In light of your comment, I’m not really sure *what* to make of your username...
Dueling fraudulent studies:
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/men-who-do-housework-have-less-sex/
Sounds like feminist propaganda to me.
I bet they also found that the couples reporting the best sex were Progressives, politically, right? These studies are nonsense.
As a male I can definitely say that two times a week is better than no times per week in my book.
Especially if they do them naked.
I agree (as a woman).
You are lucky to have it twice a week. Try a year.
Now I really cannot stand him. But that is not really true, because he is a very good person. Just moving here kind of wrecked us. I never wanted to leave the U.S. It was a sucker punch and I couldn't breathe when he told me about his job offer.
I know I am talking too much. It is a sad thing for me. And it takes so much energy for me to fix up the house, etc. I have been trying to paint, etc., in case we want to split and sell the house (which I don't want to do). Although I did do that by myself in Denver.
However, now, I love this place. It is in a rural area.
Oh my gosh, I am starting to cry.
It isn't fair for him to refuse me all the time. I realize I am a ... obviously a bad person.
I probably should not post this, but I just want people to know that marriage is a two-way street and it takes a hell of a lot of work. Sometimes, too much.
I actually have tears running down my face. I am sorry!
Good luck to you. For men, no, marriage isn't a good deal anymore. It never seems fair to them.
If both are working shared housework is good. If not, well, I don't know. I guess people have to come up with their own arrangements, and if there is love, things will work out in the end.
G*d Bless you and yours, FRiend. I probably should not have clicked on this thread when Hubby is downstairs. Normally, he would be there for hours, playing online poker, but, tonight, he actually finished loading the dishwasher, which I had started before going to bed. :)
Like I said, marriage is hard.
The wife can wash the car and change the oil. I’ll do the dishes.
See, works out fine.
Laffer curve applies to sex too?
Another costly study to learn the obvious.
Another costly study to learn the obvious.
So if one has a cook and a maid,no sex ?
Just damn
Why is marriage a good deal? Hmmmm... I guess I can only answer from personal experience as my husband and I celebrate 30 years together.
It’s caring less what the outside world thinks and caring more what your spouse thinks. When he lost his job three times, it was being by his side in solid support. Its him telling me I am as beautiful as the day we met .It’s knowing he will have his quirks and loving him for those things-as he does for me. It’s not treating sex like a commodity to be traded and counted as a chore, but as a means to express love. Plus, it’s fun!! It’s raising a child and seeing him about to be married and teaching him never, ever to forget the romance of it all. Its knowing that men want to be admired and women’ want to be desired.
That out of seven billion people in the world, there is one who thinks you’re the most amazing person on earth. Now who wouldn’t work hard to treat a person like that with sheer, unbridled devotion!?!
Used to be a good deal.
Until lawyers realized they could make a lot of money on divorce. They pushed for no fault divorce.
Then they got unconstitutional “family” courts set up. Now lawyers and judges and judge required experts rake in over 50 billion dollars every year.
Watch the free documentary Divorce Corp. Its unbelievable.
Maybe the people who did this study were just trying to get their husbands to do more chores with these results ;)
Sure it sounds crazy, but I’ve seen some really weird things people do to avoid doing housework.
It's all about finding the right woman. There are still good ones out there. I got very lucky the second time around and can honestly say it's much better than being single and much, much better than being married to a bitch like my first wife. Did I mention that my first wife was a bitch?
I have to question what their definition of housework is. Did they include all chores, or just the traditionally female chores?
