The ELECTED REPUBLICANS sure as heck do care, or they wouldn’t even be running again for their seats.
It is they who will PAY THE PRICE if Romney succeeds. Trump has his billions, he’ll go back to being a civilian, although I’m sure he’ll not let the GOPe forget.
My only point here is that the ELECTED REPUBLICANS have the power to stop Romney - and if they do not, they will only have themselves to blame when they’re packing their offices in December and updating their resume’s.
