"Z" very intelligent, very talented. A published author while still in high school. Got into one of the most elite universities in the Ivy League. I've known "Z" since she was in kindergarten.
"Z" got her internship job at Business Insider in the summer of her junior year at college. Somehow got to live in dorm space in another elite university - located in Manhattan - during her internship. This saved her family a lot of money, basically made it possible for her to take the internship, which didn't pay very much.
She has become very, very liberal since going to college. She's probably lost to reality, at least until she gets much older. Maybe permanently.
I've known a couple of other young people like her (one of whom was a "young person" when I was a "young person"). My experience is that they stay left-wingers forever, unless they are exceptionally smart and intellectually honest. My friend "Z" is definitely the former, but I'm not sure about the latter.
When they graduate from the super-elite universities, they tend to get locked in an elite lifestyle and social milieu. This makes it almost impossible for them to break out and see reality.
Business Insider is basically a left-wing website that focuses on business culture.
And couple that with the new breed of parent-the one who worships at the altar of “anything my child believes or does is to be glorified “.
It's a little more complicated than that in this case.
We’ve lived in Montgomery County for 44 years. I’m proud to call it home. This rally shows that Texans know how to do it right and I’m especially proud of my hometown of Houston...we welcome opposing views but make no mistake we won’t tolerate violence and the free-for-all demonstrations and riots we’ve seen lately and the credit goes to our law enforcement officials. Great story and pics btw........;)
...he kept going back to Mortons for another Bud....you cant get more Americana than that!
&&&&
If “Bud” is for Budweiser beer, you apparently are not aware that Budweiser is no longer American. It was bought some time ago by a company called InBev, based in Belgium.

Yes, true. And they try to hide that fact.

I take it that you have to subscribe to read the rest of the story. So what does it say basically?
Whole story is at link, along with many photos.
Turns out that java script had to be allowed or else 99% of the story would not load.
They aren't very good at it.
I went to the rally in Albany, NY. It was great, people were great, I couldn’t believe the number of younger people.
Probably around 12,000.
AND, it’s happening across the country. Trump has huge support and a very motivated group who will get to the polls.
