Changing the rules in such a manner is the ultimate disenfranchisement.

“The delegates are angered by Trump’s recent comments...”

Totally contrived.

They’ve been planning this all along.

Assholes.

The left is unable to control themselves when confronted with a conservative.

GOP finally has a candidate that can win; for the first time in over a DECADE.

And what do these pansies wanna do? Sabotage the race, because their candidate isn’t a sock puppet. This candidate is saying things that the PEOPLE want, and this in no way will benefit ($$$) them.

At least with Hillary in the White House, their “contributions” will continue to amass their personal fortunes, while the USA continues to sink.

Traitors - every last one of them.

There may be a bigger effort to prevent Trump’s nomination than is readily apparent. If would seem suicidal for the GOP to block him, but there is clearly a large number whose livelihoods might be threatened by a Trump presidency.

Well, they are already past, current anf future loosers. Then they claim to be Conservatives, which is delusional. They apparently just eon’t let their hands br pried from the steering eheel of the bus. I suggest they better get used to riding in the back of the bus. They have run outta gas and are not going anywhere on their own for the forseeable future.

“It’s not an effort for a candidate or against a candidate, but it’s an effort to educate people on what their real authority is and have them get the comfort that they’re not alone,” said Eric O’Keefe, a party operative based in Detroit who is a member of the group. “There’s a whole network of like-minded people.”

Yeah.....riiiiggghhhttt....

I’ll be glad to see the Republican convention come and go just so I don’t have to read any more of these crack pot articles. Reince Priebus has already stated that Trump is going to be nominated with or without the support of the rest of the party. He has over 1500 delegates and that’s not going to change much.

The current owners of the GOP, The Cheap Labor Express, are not going to give up the party they have used to block the citizens from stopping them.
The illegal alien inundation is the gravest threat to the citizens and millions have been spent to make sure we cannot stop it.
Every nominee for the GOP since the last amnesty has been an amnesty candidate.
They will do whatever is necessary to prevent the citizens from electing anyone as President who would enforce the laws and borders.
They do not intend to allow us to retain the rule of law or our country.
This is a decades old plan to reshape the population that both parties have been working on

Dozens of delegates out of a couple thousand. Interesting news article. Maybe next week the WaPo can cover some of the #NeverTrump websites and radio talk show hosts. I'm sure Mark Levin would be glad to lend a hand to the effort.

Hmmm, I smell a rat. See, the story the MSM had already written and had on their hard drives ready to hit the “Print” button on was the contested convention and chaos in Cleveland. Two months ago the story was that Trump was not going to get the delegates, he wasn’t going to hit the number needed.

Damn, that went up in smoke. Suddenly the GOP was calling him the presumptive nominee. The MSM can’t have that. They already have the stores written, after all. This would mean they have to work!! Oh the humanity of it all!!

Make no mistake, the GOP is not pro-Trump. Their play is to let Trump have the nomination, gleefully undermine him and root for Hillary behind the scenes. Then, they can take a crack at it again in 2020 with their chosen establishment hack. But if they blow up the convention, you can forget about having a party. It would be game over forever. Can you say, Whigs?

I am VERY well connected to delegates from a variety of states. The WaPo is making stuff up based on a few Congressional insiders from DC trying to bait Trump and supporters into taking some unbelievably stupid actions. They got nothin’, no more than Bill Kristol’s high-profile third party candidate.

They are convinced that Trump is an insufficiently conservative candidate

Will he stand up for America first, secure the border, work to stop all this Muslim and multicultural madness? If so then he is plenty conservative because he will actually be working to conserve, you know the root word of conservative? unlike 95% of the current GOP.

Trump is the greatest American since George Washington. If these establishment jack asses would just get on out of there establishment jobs and go get real jobs — they will end up fine. Why are they not focusing on Hillary’s thousands of crimes and bribes? The answer is they know their money is about to run out. These people remind me of the remnants of the Japanese army 10 years after the war was over.
