I am VERY well connected to delegates from a variety of states. The WaPo is making stuff up based on a few Congressional insiders from DC trying to bait Trump and supporters into taking some unbelievably stupid actions. They got nothin’, no more than Bill Kristol’s high-profile third party candidate.
Will he stand up for America first, secure the border, work to stop all this Muslim and multicultural madness? If so then he is plenty conservative because he will actually be working to conserve, you know the root word of conservative? unlike 95% of the current GOP.
Trump is the greatest American since George Washington. If these establishment jack asses would just get on out of there establishment jobs and go get real jobs — they will end up fine. Why are they not focusing on Hillary’s thousands of crimes and bribes? The answer is they know their money is about to run out. Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan vowed today to stop Donald Trump’s proposed temporary ban on Muslim immigration to the United States.
Ryan, an outspoken critic of Donald Trump, said he he will, “Sue any president that exceedis his or her powers.”
For the record– 47.2% of likely voters agree with Trump today that the US should temporarily stop all Muslims from entering the United States. 45.5% of likely voters disagree.
That number has increased by 13 points this month.

If they dump Trump they will find someone else to kill off like Cruz. They are ceding the election it is that simple.
What they don’t know is that when Hitlery gets in and they go back to the rat infested back benches they belong in, they will be dead as a national political power for good. When REV II comes and it becomes the good guys verses the commies/islamo nuts and their ilk, they think they will wave a wand and out will pop the patriots to bail them out. The bell will ring and few will come to their aid.

Well, I can see where the applications of electrodes to various sites on the WaPo could be beneficial.
They each claim to be leading the other. I checked out "Courageous Conservatives PAC", an outfit that has managed to raise less than $500,000 and claims to work against the likes of McCain and Trump. The other PAC mentioned by Ed O'Keefe is Citizens in Charge Foundation, which is supported by a laundry list of some other organizations. I clicked on half a dozen or so of the links on that page, and many of them fail.
My impression is that this #NeverTrump uprising is like the previous ones - a small number of malcontent pissants being magnified by the press, to look like a big force.
The Washington Post sets up a fantasy, and then tries to find susceptible pawns to run with it as a narrative.
