Yeah, it's almost comical now. Remember the stuff about how Bush was going to institute a theocracy and send them all to the camps? And now somebody really IS trying to institute a theocracy and guess what, no camps, executions. If the administration weren't so frantically active covering for the murderers it would be another thing, but that betrayal has to come as a very nasty shock, and I think a long-lasting change in their political environment. When your last recourse is Hillary you're in a world of hurt.
