Spot on analysis.
To me, they seemed more freaked out and scared than anything.
Body language was not “attack”.
I would bet they spend a lot of time on chains, given their behavior.
Loved the end...”wanna go for a ride?”
He redirected their brains *perfectly*.
You could ~see~ them “change gears”.
The little black one was totally up for a ride.
:)
That officer is all over FB for other things, as well.
Apparently, he is an all-around great guy.
LOL
Having been on the receiving end of more than a few dog attacks I agree that these hounds don’t look all that dedicated to biting. I wouldn’t turn my back on them but a dog that is serious would have barrelled in for a bite. These two were making noise and acting tough.

Agree.
Awesome that they kept coming back when he called.
They seemed more scared and lost, than anything.
Thank you so much for this Joe.
Hey Gomie! (Breaking Bad)
LOL.. Vicious my butt! Those were ‘alarm’ barks.. The foaming at the mouth was from nervousness.. Glad the officer did not overreact and murder the poor pups.
