Oh, this is vile. They want to tax my Navy pension?

I’ll move to Ohio and change my name to “John Akron” first.

How many businesses operate on less than 10% margin?

Domestic industry and service DON'T pay the tariff. Get a real argument.

I was always under the impression that representatives had no bosses (to order them what to think) but the voters. I guess that’s only true if you’re not a Democrat.

Did you read Colorado Amendment 69 in my post #12?

This isn’t about illegal immigrants and cash wages.

Most small businesses will close.

Many will move out of state.

I’ll get an apartment in KS and change my residence, then rent from the trust that owns my CO home.

Is that all that can be done? Run?

Isn’t there any way to stop this crime?

Vote down the Amendment.

The problem is that its being marketed as “more free stuff”, and there may be more voters impressed by that than are concerned about the impact.

Folks seem to have mistaken an insurance card for actual medical treatment.

“Vote down the Amendment.”

Is there any money for advocacy? Not the Republicans, probably, but some interested party?

I’ll try to determine who is financing it, because other than assigning it to the shadowy gestapo, the Insurance companies are opposing it, but not too loudly.

A local board of 21 members is a lot more accountable than a a lot of national insurance companies. In addition, insurance has a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders whereas a local board is elected by local people and is accountable to these people.

As the debates have began, those undecided tend to want it once they understand it. Still, it’s still up for grabs as the number opposed and for are about even, but there are a lot of undecided voters.

Actually the Koch brothers have built a lot of opposition to it through their think tanks. Americans for prosperity is up there at number one online and then the governor of Colorado is against it also.

You should really read more about it: http://www.amendment69colorado.org
