I sense a business opportunity. A Bed, Bath, and Beyond, maybe. We could open with a huge White Sale. What could possibly go wrong?
Wasn’t Starbucks looking for a location?
He has installed a washateria, a fried chicken restaurant and a liquor store side-by-side....now, he's making loads of money.
Most businesses do not survive the first year and maybe the Ferguson Burger Bar is among that 90% or so but:
I think I maybe see how this restaurant can do a land office business. And in the process make the owners wealthy and the neighborhood love them.
Business plan.
Sell the burgers, fries and cherry pies for a buck or less.
First apply to the state for financial assistance. Done right, millions in taxpayer moneys will filter through the Burger Bar and with just a little forethought, most will stay in your bank account.
Obviously a poor business plan for the restaurant. They should have offered fried chicken instead of burgers.
That’s too bad. He opened BEFORE the thugs went and burned down the neighborhood. There are some things you can’t control in business and that’s one of them. Perhaps that dimbulb mayor can reimburse him for the space she gave “to destroy.” $8.50 for a burger combo... Not a bad deal.
Now if he could accept EBT....
Their mistake was in not adapting to the times. They needed a Mike Brown 3/4 pound Gentle Giant burger on the menu. And how about a Ferguson Flaming BBQ night every Friday after sundown. And of course the Looters’ Special, comes with a bag of rocks to help them do their jobs.
Maybe HRC and Bubba will open a vegan restaurant powered by a windmill and staffed by convicted felons.
It is sad that Ferguson has the reputation of such violence and crime after the Michael Brown incident. Many of the residential areas have beautiful homes and landscapes which put cookie-cutter sprawl neighborhoods to shame. It was a suburb where working class blacks moved to avoid the crime-ridden city as well as many whites till remain.
The main problem in the “North County” region of St. Louis are the various apartment complexes which are full of riff-raff and a hub for crime. If I remember, this is where Michael Brown resided.
