I've been on cloud 9 because I was elected to go to the GOP Presidential Convention as a voting delegate. For those of you who understand Party politics, this was due to years of hard work and love of the Republican Party in my adopted home state of Arizona.
So now, I keep getting comments whether or not I am afraid of the violence that will probably be there. My own brother yesterday asked me if I thought there would be a bomb!
A good friend of mine told me at brunch yesterday that he is afraid to wear his Trump hat and we live in arguably the most conservative county in the US. I am both angry and sad at this. What have we allowed this Country to become. There is enough blame to go around and I'm not going to get into it here, I just wanted to vent and tell you that I am proudly going to go to the Convention and have the time of my life, proudly cast my vote for the next President of the United Stated, Donald Trump and if something happens, I would consider it fighting for my Country. Thank you.

If you support Trump, then wear your Trump hat, shirt and wave a Trump flag!
As long as I can “carry” I would have no fear of going. It is highly possible there will be a need at some point in time when a Glock fully loaded would be handy to have.

I have Trump sticker on car, also recently added NRA logo on opposite side. Never a problem as I have commented in other threads. I do concealed carry but either way don’t worry. I actually get positive comments. Now, if I once again lived in San Jose, I might do something different.

First off, congratulations.
But I wonder why, after 15 years of selling America down the river, could you love the Republican Party? Not the least of which is AZ Senator Songbird McCain, who clearly is a traitor by any serious measuring stick?

I wouldn’t go out alone at night in Cleveland unarmed, with or without a Trump hat.
There will probably be riots, and it will probably be pretty easy to stay away from them.
If these animals keep up their attacks, I suspect there will be some armed Patriots all too willing to go to the Convention and be on high alert...
We have been told the security is going to be unprecedented. You cannot have a car within a mile of the arena and the transportation is set up on a loop with officers on every bus. Cleveland did not really have enough hotels right in the heart of town, so most of the delegations are in Hotels right out side of town. We are lucky that ours is only about 8 miles out. Apparently California’s is an hour!

I suspect by convention time things will settle down. Democrat leadership is apparently seeing the downside to violence and are starting to speak out. Best if there are some visible arrests, even better is Soros is changed for paying incitement.

A short blade pocket knife is legal and can do a lot of damage.
Cleveland has a tight Downtown area, just a couple few square miles. Most venues are connected by underground tunnels and they have cordoned off protest areas blocks away from the venues. As a matter of fact the ACLU is suing because the route approved by the city for protest marches is blocks away from the arena. The city expects a hearing in August.
The national guard is on alert and will be stationed less than ten minutes from the venue. They also have thousands of security and police from other cities coming to lend a hand.
All of downtown Cleveland around the arena is going to be blocked off. Unless you have a reason to be there, and can prove it, it’s going to be nearly impossible to get in. There are many outdoor events and parties. We’ve been told that Trump is going to throw a Party like we’ve never seen. Rock and Roll Hall and Fame is involved with the events. I am very excited.
I think it is much more likely that the Democrat convention will be violent than the Republican Convention. After all the Bern is a commie and so are his supporters. Commies are dangerous, violent radicals.

YES..I would be very fearful going in crowds at this coming Convention..even with many friends at your side, you will not be safe..

Another thing would be a good heavy cane. I don’t think there will be a terror attack because that would be on O and the Dims, I think it is the Soros goons you need to worry about so hit ‘em with the cane and then spray them and then hit ‘em again.
