My dad, in the early 50s pretended to get lost in the Watts area of LA just to bug my mother’s extremely prejudiced aunt. He drove around for at least an hour. Of course back then we were in no danger at all. Times have changed, but not every change has been for the better.
My fiance’s whining about ‘racism’ (which was getting rarer) utterly evaporated when a n3gro in obvious gangster attire came to church during a lunch function and a carload of his pals circled the building for a half hour.
