Harry Potter fans have taken their cue from their sovereign and commander, J.K. Rowling, telling people who have a problem with Hermione being black in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to kindly take a flying leap.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child takes place after the end of the 7th novel, even beyond the 19-year time-jump in the epilogue. For this reason, Harry, Ron and Hermione are all adults with pre-teen or teenage children in their promotional photos.

So.... Did she have to approve the Covers of the books?
No problem her being black. Just as long as she isn’t an illegal muslim rabble rouser, that would be too PC.
How PC.....or is this an affirmative action?
Throw it back at her!
Is JK Rowling comfortable with the fact that Hermione is “Racially Appropriating” Black Skin?
Any adult Hermione should look like an older version of Emma Watson’s character. To do otherwise makes no sense.
I know, next we can have Peter Dinklage play Hagrid. Are we all okay with that?
It makes no sense to me.
While we’re at, how about having her use the same bathroom as Harry?
Just wait, in the next novel, Hermione will be a lesbian.
In the following one. she’ll have a sex change.
Alas, the authoress has succumbed to progressive’s disease...with standard results.
Kiss the wench off (both of ‘em).
Ah, the sweet, heady smell of moral superiority....
Hermione must be a victim of the Racial Transformation curse. I have no problem with a black Hermione, if the original Hermione had been black.
I’m still waiting for the white Shaka Zulu.
Obviously an evil wizard hit her with a spell turning her dark. They could make a whole story about them finding what was needed to reverse the spell and return her to normal.
White Shaft
thocka-thocka-thocka
Are you suggesting that a er ummm ‘someone’ was in the woodpile?
Interesting. It’s like a weird, perverse, reverse Michael Jackson thang..
“Canon”....LOL!
