BTW there have been no slaves here for 150+ years. But there are people who never suffered that way who are trying to get a free ride today because they had slave ancestors.
The last African born freed slave in the US died about 1930. In the lifetime of our parents/grandparents. Not so long ago.

The last African born freed slave in the US died about 1930. In the lifetime of our parents/grandparents. Not so long ago. We stopped importing slaves from Africa in 1805. So unless one of those slaves born in Africa was more than 125 years old in 1930, I think your statement may be false.
