Is he still on the loose? Read the story. He died at the hospital, 45 minutes after the police shot him. Obviously, they did not fire enough ammunition.

I listened to a lot of the scanner traffic on this. Sounded like some politician, maybe the LGBT mayor, was directing the police response.

There is no story at the link. Just a jumble of disjointed mini-reports.
But upon re-perusal did find this: “Police found the gunman and shot him. He died as a result of his injuries about 45 minutes after the first deadly shots were fired.”

Read the story. He died at the hospital, 45 minutes after the police shot him. Obviously, they did not fire enough ammunition. And the second suspect was questioned... it's not known if he was tied to the dead suspect, or if it was just a coincidence that he went on a shooting spree the same time and place.
