Thursday, May 26, 2016: Live stream of Donald Trump's remarks at The Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Bismarck, ND at the Bismarck Event Center beginning at 1:00 PM CDT.
Being patient.....
Over an hour late but Fox says he may be going after Obama. Guess he wants to be sure of his wording. Obsma attacked him earlier today.
I thought it was 1PM Central-——he isn’t that late.
.
It said 1 central time....It’s 2:16 Eastern time
Good! Thanks for the correction.
The IRONY of NORTH DAKOTA giving Donald Trump the win at 1237 is so SWEET giving that Cruz made a huge effort to wrangle the ND delegates.
His father went to ND last September, targeting a state that does not hold a primary or a caucus. They made sure Cruz delegates were the majority to choose from in Fargo.
The irony of it being - John Trandem, an unbound delegate- is also sweet. Ted Cruz had included several unbound delegates as committed to Cruz to make ND ‘appear’ as his win.
Politico’s reported that not all the unbound delegates listed on the Cruz Campaign Victory were committed to supporting him. Many stated their support was soft or conditional.
Yet Cruz was counting all these people as his delegates and distributed the list to the press, tricking the press into declaring Cruz as the big winner of North Dakota.
So much for the TeamCruz strategy of assumed winning and voter-less wins.
“Mister 1237” = John Trandem is a small business owner from Fargo, North Dakota.
As a Trump supporter, John didn’t want to commit until they had 1236 delegates.
Trandem knew Trump was two delegates short, so he passed his phone to state Rep. Ben Koppleman.
And once Ben committed and became 1236, John Trandem officially became Mister 1237.
Even though technically, no Republican candidate could win North Dakota, Cruz had declared victory referring to his ‘long grass-roots” campaign.
From GreenPapers North Dakota page:
April 3-7:
“Cruz allies prevail in North Dakota -CNN. “North Dakota Republicans selected 25 national delegates and, of those, 18 were on a list of preferred delegates that Cruz circulated”
Cruz: “I’m thrilled to have the vote of confidence of Republican voters in North Dakota who delivered such a resounding victory today,”
“As I met them over the weekend, ND Republicans recognized that I am the only candidate who can move this country forward by protecting freedom and liberty.
Whether we defeat Donald Trump before the convention or at it, I’m energized to have the support of the vast majority of ND delegates.”
He is looking very large and in charge at that press conference! PRESIDENT TRUMP!!
I loved when Trump said so calmly: I’d love to debate Bernie, he’s a dream.
“Of, By, and For the People”...petroleum conference.
Why yes, General Washington, it’s a fine night for rowin’.
