Since I have moved to MA, i have been warned about coyotes, foxes, raccoons, and bobcats, as well as deer who eat strip shrubs up to six feet up the trunk.
Makes me miss the alligators and Burmese Pythons of my former home!

I live in a fairly typical MA suburb not at all far from Boston, and have seen all of these insouciantly strolling through the yard except for bobcat.
Keep your eyes open at all times.
