he want's to buy influence?Maybe. Another way of looking at it is that Adelson believes that with Trump as President, things will get better for everyone, including Adelson.

GREAT he supports Trump, but is prominently announcing it GOOD for Trump..?
It’s not the smart play.
Sorry..! (but not really)
People WANT the wall and will worry about it.
This does NOT help.

One wonders what (if any) the mention of Newt as a possible VP had to do with this announcement. After all, seem to remember his backing Newt when he ran for the office.

For nearly eight years, Republicans have fought tooth and nail against President Barack Obama and his policies. I must have missed that. I almost thought they were rooting for Obama.
I agree with his argument that the alternative is 1000 times worse.

That idea of Newt being a running mate was floated about around 2 wks ago...

well his business depends on people doing well. People don’t go to resorts and gamble when times are tough. both he and trump have a stake in prosperity for america. not a bad motivation. i like prosperity too.
To: kvanbrunt2
after these past 8 years of the current regime one does begin to long for prosperity.

Let me take a stab at this conundrum...he want's to buy influence? Do a little background research, engage the brain, and see if there isn't a more relevant quip .....
