Taiwan’s new President was sworn in and has used Communist China, to drop historical baggage. As we All know China, still claims Twain as it’s own. And still hasn’t ruled Military invasion.
It would appear Israel is getting a new defense minister, from a more hard-line conservative party which is Good.
Search continues for body and the plane from AireEgypt after being brought down by terrorists.
Tensions continue to brew between the U.S. and China, after China has out right that the US, stops all surveillance of the Desputed Islands and other things.
Russia has warned NATO on adding membership to Montorego.

When my son was in the navy (stationed in Japan), they headed to Hong Kong for Thanksgiving. Families would fly there to meet their sailors. Well, this one year, the Chinese govt and US had some kind of disagreement. To get even, the Chinese would not let our ships come into port. Soooo, to get back at the Chinese, the fleet went up through the straights of Taiwan - which hadn’t happened in decades. Apparently, it was a very tense situation and Chinese guns were pointed at our fleet. Son thought it was kind of funny that we were, in a sense, “flipping the bird” at the Chinese! I know the incident made the national news!
