I pointed out to him that on the day after 9-11, the PRC announced a list of countries (fourteen in all) who’s citizens would not be allowed to board any aircraft inbound to China from any airport in the world.
That included people who had already purchased tickets aboard Air China or any other Chinese-owned air carrier. They issued an apology for any inconvenience, and stated that this policy would be in effect until further notice.
Of course, he had never heard this. He knew nothing about it.
Well just to be fair, that might have been to prevent terrorism.
I believe that is completely understandable.
But I am critical of the country I once supported strongly, for being racist in their immigration. Because they are.
And also, for maintaining control over all companies in the country.
We are opening to the world.
Other countries should, likewise.
I believe that is why Trump is doing so well. Quite a lot of Americans share our belief that we are being completely played, globally.
