That’s why we boarded our dog once, and never again. She was well treated (that we know of), but very depressed for a couple of weeks after we got her back.

Thanks for the heads-up. I better not ever board our dog, she gets depressed seeing us get ready for work/school/church, i.e. whenever she knows she'll be left alone. lol

And she's got the sad look down pat.

Tell me about it....

The good thing is that when you get home, it is “the best day EVAH!!!!!” for the dog, as if nothing ever happened before. I imagine that it must be a lot less stressful to be as dumb as a rock (even though we love them).
