My brothers fiance is very Conservative, so is her family, they live in Modesto, she said her brother is the most Conservative person living in California, I said obviously he’s never met me LOL. Yeah you are right I would never want to live in Austin, reminds me of Santa Monica..it would just be weird making a fresh start, knowing no one but I guess you have to start somewhere right and at least I would be surrounded by level minded people, instead of here, surrounded by Commies

Yes, it is hard to start over. I miss my California friends and at first, I didn’t think I’d find ones as good here. but - not true! it just takes a while to make life-ling friends ;)

I told my husband I wanted to die in the US. period. in was born in Texas and lived there and in California. I knew from trips that things were vastly different elsewhere. Can you imagine hotel maids being white cute teenage girls? I felt like I was in a dream, LOL! We had an addition out on our house - I could talk to all of the workers! I know their names and how many kids they have. With one, we have pro-Trump conversations at least every other day.

Come on out! And once you get to Arkansas, it just gets prettier and prettier. And the rivers have LOTS of water, LOL! We drive by several creeks by our house and 2 rivers run through town. Just having water nearby is wonderful - we can go to the lake and it is never crowded. I assume because there is water everywhere. There’s not huge Mexican families with boomboxes on high taking up the entire area. People are polite and as nice as can be. Instead of hating going to the store and trying to time it right, I love going and talking to people. It’s 180 degrees from what I left. I thank God every day.

Im right there with you sarah.

Im ready to leave here. I want to be around like minded people. I want land

to work and I want to be self sufficient. Texas was a destination however my

friends in Dallas and Houston tell me that Texas will be CA in 10 years.

Cross that state off my list. Its either Alaska or TN for me.
