the decided lack of sophrosyne here has lead to numerous opuses by longtime freepers. none are so blind as those who refuse to see that the vitriol even more than the trumpfandom is what is driving people out.
my biggest beef is that they tout that daily caucus thread as a valid indicator of Freeper support for trump. it is NOT. how many posters post to that thread? 100? maybe. and it’s the same zealots daily. there is no unanimity of trump support from the freeper base. how many who don’t post to that thread don’t because of what sort of fresh hell of abuse they might become subject to by revealing themselves as not supporters of trump. i think i voted there once. there is no appropriate category for most of us anyway. i can’t stand cruz, think Trump is unelectable, not a conservative and a thin skinned bully. i will not vote for hillary. i will likely vote for the thin skinned bully bc i am #neverhillary. that caucus thread is BS and having it touted as some proof of freeper support just annoys the crap out of me. i would LOVE a true blind poll with appropriate choices.
