Here is the original version from 1968, The Will-O-Bees were a folk rock group from Long Island.

Mama Cass' version was a cover.

You had to love 1960s TV music, lol. Where exactly are those backup vocals coming from? (they sound like dubs of her own voice!)

At least the TV producers finally did figure out that people were smart enough to notice when the guitars weren’t plugged in, etc.

And I love me some Cass Elliot.

Oh yeah. That gal right there was a helluva talent who left us too young.

I’d probably have to put her in my top 3, oh yeah. Woman had a command of expressive singing. I mean you can go all through her catalog.
