Eight years ago, two US Marines from two different walks of life who had literally just met were told to stand guard in front of their outpost's entry-control point.

Minutes later, they were staring down a big blue truck packed with explosives. With this particular shred of hell bearing down on them, they stood their ground.

Heck, they even leaned in.

"But they were Marines, combat Marines, forged in the same crucible of Marine training, and because of this bond they were brothers as close, or closer, than if they were born of the same woman."

And right now the uniparty progressives are hard at work weakening and destroying that crucible that has served our nation so well.

I remember reading a story about two US Army guards (I think they were National Guard) in a jeep who instantly drove it into an suicide attack bomb truck in Iraq and saved many lives. As I recall, the story writer was either a foreign news reporter or a UN diplomat.

It is a great story.

It’s criminal to have these great young men sacrificing themselves in a crap hole like Ramadi for our current government.

When I was their age all I wanted to do was ride my bicycle and smoke pot.

I should have listened to my old daddy. When I graduated from HS he told me I should join the Marines, I could be retired in 20 years.

I’ve never been one but the Corps has been a reliable source of some of my best friends.

Semper Fidelis!

Always Faithful!

“I am a United States Marine. I serve in the forces which guard my Country and our Way of Life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense, so help me God!”

May God comfort, bless and provide for the families of these two MEN!
