NYC Republican Chairman Ed Cox endorses Donald Trump for president.
I am pleased that the GOP chairman waited until AFTER the NYS primary to announce his endorsement.
Perhaps there are a few leaders of the GOP that remember their leadership post is a badge of servitude to the voters of the party.
For a moment there my mind heard Ed Koch.

If he was endorsing Cruz, the Trumpbots would be all over this thread to sneer "UNIPARTY!!!" "MORE PROOF LYIN' TED IS THE CANDIDATE OF THE GOPE!!!" "HOW CAN THE CRUZERS SUPPORT THIS KIND OF ENDORSEMENT??"
But of course, he endorsed The Donald, so its all fine and dandy.

As GOP state party chair, he’s now endorsed the candidate who OVERWHELMINGLY won his state’s primary where actual people, registered Republicans, voted. What would you have had him do? Had Cruz or Kasich won, he’d have endorsed the winner. Just as happened in many other states, the political powers within the state endorse after their people have voted and made known their preference.
Tell me, did you lecture Trumpbots about that when they screamed "UNIPARTY!!!" and "GOPE!!!" at Ted Cruz for accepting the endorsements of an "establishment Republican" in a state that he had overwhelmingly won?
