How sad. He so reminds me of the music of my youth in the 80s. I wasn’t the biggest fan (I think I may have one CD), but there are some songs he did that always lift the mood to this day with their infectious beats (1999, Little Red Corvette).

Sad day, but he has dozens of unreleased albums worth of material. So he will.be around in spirit for some time.
I read he was rushed to a hospital a few days ago, he had a bad bout with the flu. Sad. RIP

Prince’s life taking drugs contributed to his early death. His turning away from that lifestyle brought him to a spiritual life has a Jehovah’s Witness after he turned to Jesus in 2001. His early lifestyle just brought him to be with Jesus earlier.

TMZ is reporting that emergency jet landing and trip to the hospital by Prince on 4/15 was to treat a drug overdose, not for the “flu”.
