A 101-year-old Florida woman is getting a second chance at prom.

Prom, not porn.

You can thank me later.

**101-Year-Old Florida Woman Gets Second Chance at Prom**

I was scanning the headlines, and my sleep deprived eyes read porn, not prom.

No granny porn please.

Wait, so she went to her first prom already, why does she need a second chance?

She sure ain’t gonna find no husband at prom this time around...

If she is 101, that would mean that she was at least 26 when her prom date went off to World War II, and 30 at the end of the war.

I am similarly puzzled.
She successfully attended a high school prom likely in 1932 or so.
I guess if she sincerely desires to go partying with youngsters, more power to her.

If you read the article, high school students set up the prom for 75 senior citizens. I think it was a wonderful idea.

Yes, especially if the music they play at the prom is swing or jazz. Much better than today.

“No granny porn please.”

Rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it.

I did read the brief article, thank you very much.
I attended my junior and senior proms while in high school.
We all got dressed in formal attire. They were fun. Not sure I need a "prom repeat" decades later.

Did you go to the real article? It says high school students planned the prom for about 75 seniors in a senior citizens home. That was a great idea since a lot of students do not have older relatives in the same city. More schools should do things like that.

I wonder if the high school students are going to be their dates.

That would be awesome.

A great idea, especially since most are alone.

She has to be back in time for the early bird special.

Are you sure? Can those high school students do the Chareleston?

Is this going to turn into Cocoon II?

Are you sure they could even dance anything? The seniors I mean. My mom was in a nursing home the last few years of her life. Some could barely walk with a walker and some were in wheelchairs. Many just wanted to talk and the high schoolers just might learn something new if they listen. My mom was born in 1904 and died in 2007. She remembered going to church with her dad to pray for people on the Titanic. She had a great memory and told us, her grandkids and many others about her life over the years. What a book she could have written. We all miss her.
