I was at a family party a month ago.
Found out two of my first cousin’s sons saw Straight out of Crapton.
We have leeway as Italian elders to speak our mind to the kids.
So I said “why don’t you go wear your pants around your knees, sell crack/heroin/coke on the corner, get a gun and shoot it sideways, and speak like they be.”
Then I said “For God’s sake, you’re Italian, at least emulate your own.”
Then I corrected it and said “emulate Scalia!!”

Saclia! Man, was I sorry to see him go. A guy like him comes along once every century or so. Incredible constitutional scholar, but there are many of those. He actually lived the stuff, and is the best writer (not to mention the only one with a sense of humor) to sit on the court in my lifetime. No one was even close.
