I would be of the first order and likely do more than hold my nose! It will be a painful vote as I see no more than I’m just voting for another Rhino by voting for Trump. And there’s not a single Freeper who can say the man will do what he says....he’s already said otherwise.

People who worship another person are sick. I’m willing to discuss the pro and cons of each candidate. Both Trump and Cruz have pros and cons. I am most unwilling to act like some unreasoning, besotted, drooling, freak, worshiping Hitler at a NAZI party rally.

I prefer Cruz. Trump is more interesting, but interesting like a super-hot, crazy girlfriend.
Even on Celebrity Apprentice there were times where, when The Donald gave his opinion, I would go "Where the hell did THAT come from?!" His campaign has been like that. Mostly okay, but with the occasional WTF?
Anyway, I would still vote for either.
I agree. If Cruz is the nominee, hopefully legitimately, having won the support of the non-Trump delegates without the Trump delegates abandoning their candidate while he is still in the lead, Cruz will need the support of the 40% of republican voter who voted for Trump.
I have been calling out posters who slam Trump with the same dedication as I've been calling out those who slam Cruz. Personal attacks are useless in terms of converting them to vote the other way in the primary and harmful in the general election. Besides, the two candidates are much closer to each other in their stated positions than either one is to any of the other candidates.
Cruz and Trump are both imperfect but they agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such.
I have been trying to impart this message for months. People should remember that the Democrats have a very large stack of research on all of the candidates. I would think that the stack for Trump is much higher than Cruz. The lack of attacks kind of indicate that they can’t wait to run against Trump. The best negative anyone (so far) against Cruz is 5 affairs (no proof and from a friend’s Tabloid’ of Trump’s, and questions about his citizenship. The others are just personal attacks and Trump will not address issues.. he just dictates - for instance, I will build a wall, but no specifics - just ‘the Mexicans’ will build it. If the reason these morons post is to try to convince someone to change their vote, then make valid arguments. If the reason is to vent in order to make themselves feel better, get a life. Otherwise, you have taken one of the best conservative forums and turned into the democratic underground.
Thank you for your support. This is too big a job for one person, so all help is very much appreciated. This may be like social/economic problems that are beyond government’s control so the people have to step in too. This has grown too big for the moderators to squelch on their own, but perhaps with our help those who wallow in personal attacks will either wake up (real Freepers) or slink away (paid trolls).
