In the 20 seconds he was unmonitored when I let him in this morning, My Lab/Pyrenees mix ate my g.d. breakfast taco off the table. I only realized it a few minutes ago when I saw the wrapper on the floor and analyzed the crime scene.

He left my coffee, though, which was nice.

One time I picked up 2 carry-out meals and dropped them off at home, meaning to stick them in the fridge. So I went out to do some more errands, and it occurred to me I had forgotten to put them away.

Since my 2 labs were in the house, I knew with ontological certainty the meals would be gone when I got home. So without checking to confirm, I went back to the same cafeteria and got 2 more meals. The cashier laughed when I explained why I was back.

When I got home, sure enough.
