March Sees Record Gun Sales

Gun sales broke records yet again in the month of March.

The FBI performed 2,523,265 firearms-related background checks between March 1 and March 31, according to the agency’s records. That’s a new record for the month. It’s nearly 35,000 more checks than the previous record set in March 2014.

Despite the new record, March saw the fewest checks of any month so far in 2016.

The March record is the eleventh straight monthly record for background checks. The unprecedented streak, which began in May 2015, has included all-time records for both monthly and yearly sales. With 7,682,141 checks processed through the FBI’s National Instant Background Check System, 2016 is currently on pace to set another all time yearly sales record.

Yes, it’s a beautiful thing to behold.

The more determined the liberals are to take away our guns, the more guns and ammo we buy.

A rifle and a case of ammo sounds like a prudent way to spend that income tax refund check.

Folks around here must have all the firepower they want because our usually best gunshow was a dismal event. The venue (Kingsport Convention Center) cut the display area in half, there were half the tables of the typical event, and the turnout was sparse. Folks who rented tables were saying oblala needs to make another public effort to ban guns ... most folks realize his government has done very significant things to cut back ownership and ammo.

You call that a record? Wait until Clinton wins the election.

I acquired a new firearm last month. I didn’t purchase it. Does that count as a sale?

Yeh - she wins, the Dems take the House and the Senate, and she gets to nominate three members of the Supreme Court with the latter’s confirmation. That process might take a couple of months. There won’t be a gun left on any shelf in the United States.

Especially when President Hillary Clinton goes full steam ahead with getting a bunch of Second Amendment-hating SCOTUS judges on the bench.
People will be eager to do some last enjoyable time on the range before lawfully turning them in to be destroyed by helpful government agencies.

Don’t forget ammo. Buy lots of ammo.

Ammo control: the backdoor approach to gun control, just ask Chris Rock.

I laugh when the pols furrow their eyebrows and direly predict that “we can’t ever deport 12 million illegal aliens, it is not physically possible” but they think they will have no problem rounding up 100 million handguns, rifles and shotguns

I better hurry up and buy. I lost all of mine in a tragic boating accident awhile back.

I guess most folks are like me- I bought that ksg 12 gauge pump shotgun at the gun show last week (march) and immediately lost it in the kayak accident crossing the deep river. I guess I am gonna have to go to another gun show and replace it :(
