What short memories liberals have.
A year ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Congress and warned of no greater danger than the marriage of radical Islam and nuclear weapons.
Flash-forward to President Obama’s op-ed this week warning of the dangers of terror groups like ISIS getting a dirty bomb. He wrote he’s racing to “prevent the world’s most dangerous networks from obtaining the world’s most dangerous weapons.”
This is the same president whose party boycotted Bibi’s joint session of Congress in protest.
The same commander in chief who just a few months ago told us ISIS was contained and posed no existential threat.
Yet now there’s a two-day Nuclear Security Summit underway in Washington with over 50 world leaders in attendance to discuss the very real possibility of nuclear terrorism at the hands of ISIS or other enemy states.
On Herald Drive this week I interviewed former Green Beret and radical Islam expert Lt. Col. Scott Mann, who fought three combat tours in Afghanistan, as well as in many other conflict zones such as Iraq and Colombia.
I asked him if nuclear terrorism is something that could happen in our lifetime. He said, “not could,” but “highly probable.”
Let that sink in.
While we recall that for the past several years — while ISIS committed genocide and established a caliphate — U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, the president and their progressive “brain trust” have made fighting climate change their top priority — instead of eviscerating ISIS.
But none of that stopped Obama from taking in a baseball game last weekend in Cuba or doing the tango in Argentina. While at the very same moment ISIS attacked Brussels. And what have Belgium authorities since found?
In addition to a bomb factory, they found 10 hours of video footage of a nuclear facility, including the surveillance of a nuclear official in that country.
For two years, I’ve been saying in my column the president must destroy ISIS and articulate a resolute foreign policy our allies can rely on and our enemies respect. His summit today is too little, too late.
Let’s hope we can hang on until November when America can elect a strong leader capable of managing our foreign affairs. As the saying goes, it took Jimmy Carter to give us Ronald Reagan.

Make no mistake, these people are not Nincompoops, nor are they Incompetent or wrongheaded.
THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING, and all of it is INTENTIONAL. The Goal is to DESTROY this country and make room for the New World Order.
Last person in the world Obama is gonna listen to is Bibi. How Obama feels about Israel is pretty obvious to me.
A great (and very true) article indeed, but not even a single mention of the DISASTROUS nuclear “deal” with Iran—a sworn enemy—that the idiot president and his equally idiotic SOS were party to just a few months ago?? Probably the most dangerous pact this nation’s ever been a part of (thanks Obama, ya dumbass!)
Has everyone forgotten that? And just weeks ago they smear the pact in his face by launching a couple ballistic missiles, in complete contravention of the so-called “conditions”, after they get the +$100 billion that they snookered the idiot into giving them. Perhaps he’s having an aide draft a strongly-worded letter to the Iranian leadership showing how disappointed we might possibly (but probably won’t) be.

Here is Bambi’s nuclear agenda:
Destroy America’s nuclear stockpile.
Destroy Israel’s nuclear defenses.
Enhance Iran’s ability to develop and distribute nuclear weapons.
If you think you’ve seen something that refutes this agenda, you’re wrong.
From what I’ve read (and from what you’ve said, Laz), we have a way of tracking enriched uranium by satellite. If ISIS has a nuke and gets it into the US, our military knows where it is at. That doesn’t mean that the CINC would do anything to stop it, and he’s systematically gotten rid of military leadership that would balk at obeying unlawful orders.
Obama said in July of 2008 that he would be POTUS for “the next 8 to 10 years”. That could only happen if something happened late in his 2nd term that made elections and/or inauguration of a new POTUS impossible. And now - right on schedule - ISIS is all over the US (with more being invited in all the time, openly) and North Korea and Iran - both belligerent trigger-happy enemies of the US - have nukes and satellites with which to EMP attack us since we have no south-facing radar to defend us from the polar orbit their satellites are in. Obama is planning to be in Latin America yukking it up with his communist buddies in November and December.
If Obama is talking about ISIS possibly having nukes - knowing that our military can track those nukes even if ISIS has them - it seems to me that he is setting the stage for a nuke attack to be CALLED an enemy attack, even though it can only happen if he stops the military from responding to stop a known threat.
IOW, he not only has NK and/or Iran who could act as his surrogates in a satellite-based EMP attack, but he has ISIS in the US which can now act as his surrogate for a conventional nuke attack within the US.
