GREENVILLE, NC...The dog was in a fenced in backyard at 303 Cadillac Street and pushed his way out of the gate, according to GPD spokeswoman Kristen Hunter.
Hunter says the gate was only secured by a cement block and that the dog made its way to the neighbor's front yard where it ended up biting the child's leg. The police spokeswoman says the child had a "pretty significant" injury.
The owner of the dog, Tobisha Willoughby, was charged with a leash law violation, as well as given a rabies vaccination notice.

"Tobisha Willoughby"
My guess is the she (he?) lives nearby Colketa, Tawana, Deshaun, etc.
At 59 years old have been bitte once.....by a neighbors supposedly friendly pit bull mix. Was walking down street and it apparently crossed street and came up behind me unseen. Most terrifying moment of my life.
In most towns, it’s against the law to let a dog run free. That’s the issue - not the breed. When I was 3 years old, I got bit badly by an unleashed German Shepherd The dog was put down. That said, at a driving range the other day, a woman was walking a young pit bull. Looked like a nice dog. Asked if I could say hello to the dog. I got more kisses from that dog than I’ve had in the last five years.
From the link; “Mooring says it took four people to pull the child away from the dog.”
The video answers all questions.
Poor kid. I got bit once by a neighbors German Shepard at 7 years old. Dad kicked the dog before it could do any real damage, but it gave me the oddest of scars on my right temple.
Probably would have died.
Pray for that kid.

No, the breed is very much the issue. Other, less dangerous breeds can be used to guard meth labs, moonshine stills, and crack houses. And that really is the only legitimate use for this breed.
Didn’t Tobisha sell the Russians submarine drive technology in the 1980s?
Wholeheartedly disagree. The breed is dangerous.
Genesis (Bereishit), Chapter 9, verses 5 and 6.
Pretending animal worship (idolatry) for the purposes of using animals to hurt other human beings is wrong. It is also wrong to pretend animal worship to support the crimes of dog fighting, gambling and/or wrongful drug activities.
Stop pushing for the dishonest, foreign laws of idolatrous mankind by misconstruing the Sixth Law. If you don’t like it, go back to eastern Europe, where your very recent ancestors came from.

The U.K. and other nations are now calling the category of breeds the “American Pit Bull,” “American Pit Bull Dog” or “American Pit Bull Terrier,” and they are broadcasting news of pit bull attacks in the U.S.A. as often as such news is published or broadcast here, in the States.
The following is an example of the common use of the phrase. It was also used many times in a BBC documentary about the worldwide public corruption behind dog fighting.
Family of baby girl savaged to death by illegal American pit bull at her grandmother’s house say they are ‘totally devastated’ by loss of their ‘little princess’

Your implying it is the owner and not the breed that makes a difference and I agree with that. However, the breed, when it does bite does a lot more damage than most other breeds and that is the problem. My guess guess is that most of the problems with pit bulls arise from the fact that they are a preferred breed of the feral-human breed that the government has been paying to breed since the 1960’s.
