24 states have enacted such laws: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.

One less reason to go to Mexico. Good for Maine.

The scary thing is that the medical lobby is so powerful that such laws even have to be passed. But you have to have compassion for others in your soul to allow terminal patients to try anything. This leaves out the AMA and drug companies.

Anyone notice that practically every medicine advertised on tv ends up being pulled due to law suits within a couple of years?

Still, if I’m at death’s door, give me the entire bottle of whatever they’ve got.
