In the midst of winter, with no color, depression is common. This is used, personally, taking the place of the ‘Fantasia” movie on the VHS. It once was the ‘Go To’ for this purpose.

I love traveling south this time of year. Southerly destinations are weeks and weeks ahead of us in New England. Longwood gardens [for me] is a big treat.

By the time I get home, spring and mud season has taken hold in earnest. So, it’s like having two springs.
