I was just thinking about you and this thread today. Our huge flock of Goldfinches left weeks ago after a few warm days. One remained and appeared to have an injured wing. He was back today and he is getting his yellow feathers. He has yellow patches randomly all over his body. I hope he stays with us for the summer since his friends have all left, but he probably won't.
We have our regulars but I did see an unusual bird , I think it was a Pine Siskin, I have only seen it once before. Not positive but I couldn't find anything else that was close.
