Shapiro lost my respect with the fake “Assault” story peddled by Fields.

Since when is patriotism not conservative?

His equating of “conservatism” with a refusal to protect American interests is insane.

You nail the point. Patriotism is clearly one of the most basic conservative principles--in purely political terms, probably the most important. If you will not preserve your native land, its heritage & culture, just what are you focused on to even call yourself a "Conservative?"

Those who dream of "New" World Orders may be Jacobins, Bolsheviks or Nazis, or American equivalents. They certainly are not conservatives, by any rational interpretation of the word. Nor are those who let "political correctness" intimidate them into not defending their native land, its heritage & culture.

This is only even debatable among people who have no interest in actual conservatism.
