wasn’t Daisy just COVER for Donald? there seemed something very odd about him with those three little boy duckies, after all
anyway yes, Goofy and Pluto... a nice pair.
also of course Batman and his Boy Wonder
!!! couldn’t be more obvious, overt, imho

Aren’t those his nephews or something? I sure hope so, because he was their scout troop leader, so now I’m getting worried!

Especially in the 60s “camp” tv version! It kind of amazes me, not just that I didn’t notice that when I watched the reruns as a kid, but that society of that time just wasn’t really “hip” to the subtext.
Same thing with the Village People in the 70s. They were pretty blatant, but most people didn’t “get it”. If they did, there’s no way “YMCA” would have been such a hit, with the social attitudes of the time.
There was a funny episode that had Bruce Campbell in it.
THATS some Uncle Buck role play I could of done without!
yup.
they show those batman tv reruns nowadays and
they’re patently homosexual, imho
fun, yes
but homosexual, i think also yes.
there has been SO much discussion or speculation about Batman and his Boy Wonder that its now a full Wiki article with linkees to everywhere...

Cool, it would be a good one to remake. Movie remakes suck lately, but there have been some great tv remakes/reboots in the last few years.
Ash Vs. The Evil Dead on Starz was awesome, for example, and the “Fargo” series on FX was pretty good too. Arrested Development, Full House, Trailer Park Boys, all sorts of stuff getting new seasons now thanks to the online services that are starved for content :)
Lucy Lawless returned the favor and showed up as a guest star in the “Evil Dead” series they did on Starz last year.
Did Sam Raimi produce Xena too? I know it was a spin off from Hercules, and he produced that. Of course Bruce Campbell has to show up in everything Raimi does, I think they signed that contract on a bar napkin back in the 80s.
Dang, and here I wanted to ask Gaby what she was doing Friday night...
Bruce is one of the actors I will watch any more.
He was great on Burn Notice and mostly how me and my wife started watching it.
But was TV's Batman "gay" or just playing with the idea of gayness? You can say Paul Lynde was really gay and nobody got it, but with a fictional character like Batman (or Donald Duck) it's harder to make something like that stick.
Same thing with the Village People in the 70s. They were pretty blatant, but most people didnt get it. If they did, theres no way YMCA would have been such a hit, with the social attitudes of the time.
Really? Everybody got it. Okay, maybe not everybody. Parents and oldsters might have learned the song and the dance without being in on the joke, but kids knew the Village People were supposed to be homosexual, though they may not have had much idea of what homosexuals were or whether they really existed. The irony is that some of the group actually weren't gay. They just answered a casting call and got hired.
Now it wasnt just that Xena was bisexual and kinda liked her gal pal and they kind of fooled around sometimes, it was Nope, theyre married, man.”
Like my tagline says....
Will they be wearing baggy flannel shirts to conceal their malformed udders?
I thought guys were into lesbot scene.
Ugh! The lesbot behind is grabbing the driver’s boob!
That’s going to take a wire brush and a whole bar of Lava soap to get that image out of my mind. Or,for those who remember, a whole bar of Dead Cat soap. (There’s a whole dead cat in every bar)
>>I thought guys were into lesbot scene.<<
Such things have a lifespan of about 1 minute. Then it loses its fascination and is just boring and pointless.
They were gay in the original.

Make ‘her’ a man too.
Yep. Add it to a growing and extensive list.
