This is a direct assault on hobby road racers and drag racers and many more. The great majority of race cars are converted street cars. The Clean Air Act specifically covers this exemption, but it appears that we need a law to re-state a law again...

so there are what, a few thousand such vehicles in all of USA?
what a horrible intrusion into individual liberty ... for what greater good? NONE!
a few racers are not gonna deplete the atmosphere of O2

Bye, bye “General Lee.” But then again, that car had an outlawed paint job (Confederate Flag).

ALL of my vehicles are now ‘race cars’.
Go screw yourselves Gina & Barry.

“Go to hell.”
That is where we are all headed with this constant barrage of regulatory abuse! The EPA is more powerful than all all branches of government combined!

These bastards put an end to over-the-counter asthma inhalers.
Their mission has nothing to do with saving the environment.

Go to hell. That's the bottom line, they need to be told to go pound sand.
Here's a bit of "old meets new" engine porn, seemed appropriate for the thread. 1994 Mustang + 1969 Boss 429 engine + modern fuel injection and electronic engine control = scary horsepower.

Probably just an indirect attack on those ‘bible and gun clinging racist’ NASCAR fans.

Ok, fine.
Now instead of just building out a new 500 cubic inch V8, I'm going to build out a 500 cubic inch V8 with Twin Turbo's and 1,500+ HP.
Kiss my lilly white ass, EPA!

Green house gasses, which makes little sense as the users prolly inhaled most of it. They’re just plain chickenshit.
