NEW YORK – A history of support for free-trade deals by Ted Cruz and his wife, Heidi, is dogging the senator's campaign in the important "winner-take-all" Ohio GOP presidential primary, especially since the Cleveland Plain Dealer has just reported that the state lost 112,500 jobs last year because of the U.S. trade deficit with countries in the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement.

This is a good article.

Long, but good. Ted Cruz is a globalist.

Nothing wrong with free trade, but if you have to have a multi hundred page document governing your “free trade” it isnt free trade.

Trump’s for American jobs unless they are on one of his construction projects or golf courses then he’s all for undocumented Democrats working for him.

He’s for it now, after manufacturing millions of dollars of goods in China? How convenient!

Trump is the only strongly positive net worth in our entire list of candidates.

Strongest in history in fact.

He is LIGHTYEARS ahead of the nearest competitor. Trump has created jobs, jobs, jobs.

Has Cruz?

Well, your mortgage papers or your car loan documents weren’t very brief, either. Wonder why that is?

Is Cruz?

If you don't know the answer to that question you haven't been paying attention. Moreover Cruz has very explicit laid out his plans to accomplish that, mostly, but not exclusively, via tax policy.

Trump, on the other hand, appears to think he can order Americans around at will.

“Trump is the only strongly positive net worth in our entire list of candidates.”

Helps to start out with millions.

Trump has come out (strongly) against the broad sell out of American manufacturing which the entire ESTABLISHMENT has supported.

All of them.

Every democrat. Every Republican. Every media pundit. Every consultant. There is a massive “sell out America” operation, and I see Cruz as a part of that.

Donald Trump is saying, we need to support American manufacturing.

He’s about the only one.

Anywhere.

Trump has created jobs, jobs, jobs.

I would prefer he kept after that in the private sector and stay away from his plans to make America into his drill team. One Teddy Roosevelt bully-boy in our history was enough.

Nobody else is doing that.

Anywhere.

Everyone is sold out to the globalists.

TPP will completely destroy the U.S.

Cruz is an opportunistic fraud and has sold out America

Only Trump understands how China’s massive currency manipulations are an effective tariff on U.S. products. This results in massive wholesale destruction of U.S. industries and manufacturing

Trump is against TPP and will stop it and China

Again, Cruz is slicing his position very, very thinly.

Supported, and still supports, TPA.

And now that he has lowered the threshold for passage of TPP to a point that assures it's passage, he's opposed to TPP.

A repeat of his typical slimeball antics.
