I upgraded to 10 on my HTPC, but then I dual-booted with Linux Mint and found it does everything I need, so I’m not booting it into Windows anymore.
I really don’t like the way Windows 10 phones home to the NSA every fifteen seconds.
Thats quire an achievement considering window 10 is now an automatic update that will install itself on it’s own without user intervention
Adoption rate indeed. It downloaded without being invited yesterday. Now there don’t seem to be any drivers for our old scanner. We just bought a nice stand alone printer last year, but the least expensive option would be to buy a new printer/scanner. Sheesh.
I’ve upgraded 4 Win7 desktops and 1 Win8.1 laptop to Win10. Works great - best Windows so far IMHO. One of my desktops can dual-boot to CentOS7 for Linux work, but I don’t do that much - at least for daily use.
It keeps increasing because more people accidentally get suckered into the update.
If it was not for the spyware then Windows 10 would have a much higher share. It is very easy to upgrade and also to downgrade within 30 days with no loss of your files. Any software installed after the upgrade would be lost and need to be reinstalled.

Claiming windows 10 is popular and bragging about the number of people using it, is like giving girls roofies, having sex without consent, and later bragging how you really get laid a lot.
Essentially, windows 10 is date rape.
