No worries. Trumpkins will continue to support their “Dear Leader” even if he says Planned Parenthood does wonderful things, and is unwilling to have the gay marriage decision overturned. Billy Mays alright!
Yawn
Trump supporters need to get him up to speed on the federal governments constitutionally limited powers and the 10th Amendment.
I did not realize that the National Review had a comics section. What a laugh.
That’s how he hired his pilots.
National Review garbage.
Wonder if Ted Cruz got into Harvard because of affirmative action?
From what I can tell, Ted has said that he doesn’t know.
Trump could advocate for seizing homes via eminent domain to pay for socialized medicine for union workers’ abortions while yelling ‘Hail, Satan!’ and making out with Al Sharpton and his supporters still would care.
A certain percentage of the Trumpites who previous recognized affirmative action correctly as “reverse discrimination” will now say that affirmative action is good as long as it is Donald Trump who manages it.
The conservative “center/core” cannot hold and is desolving before our eyes under Cult of Personality pressure.
Principles no longer matter. This has become a personality cult. All that’s missing is the poisoned koolaid
NR Motto - Dig We MUCH:-) Hourly, daily, weekly...
I see National Review & I laugh, post this & look for something interesting to read.
Trump iz uh GEEEEENUS!!!! He going to sav uz al. He going to make deels with demoncratz. That going tu sav uz.
Affirmative action actually has a wide enough array of definitions that really anyone could sign onto it if they so choose. Obviously, at its most extreme on the one side, it’s strict quotas in favor of certain minorities no matter how unqualified or relatively inferior they might be. At the other extreme, however, affirmative action can mean nothing more than taking affirmative action to make opportunities known to those minorities, and nothing else.
Trump has evidently implemented a form of affirmative action somewhere along that continuum, probably closer to the latter, and it’s worked out well for him, so based on that he doesn’t have a problem with it.
Wash.... Rinse.... Repeat.... So, cram it!
That Trump is instinctively Conservative, and likely to continue to move to the right, as he fleshes out his new involvement in American politics as a primary focus, see Trump: Metaphor For American Conservatism.
